(various older pics of Butterbean) This afternoon the neighbor's Akita, Bo-bo, jumped on my yellow lab, Butterbean and an extremely vicious fight ensued.

Luckily, no humans were injured in getting the dogs apart (it took 4 adult-sized people).

 Butterbean literally has a hole in his right ear. His right eye is a bit swollen too. He bled a lot but is doing much better than I thought he would after seeing the other dog hold him down with his teeth grinding into Butterbean's head.

All I can say is...that really sucked.
