Sometime around noon Beth (my boss) gets a call on her cell phone. She says, "Awww honey. I am an hour and a half away." Her child was sick at school. We were in the process of putting out 2 boxes of cards. Cards come in little clear plastic bags that have a location letter and number on them. I had sorted and alphabetized my cards. I was on P (Nearly finished because it doesn't go thru the entire alphabet...). I had to get her box of cards and start putting them out. Not sorted. All the way back down to C. My system was so good that I got caught up in about 20 minutes. I happen to look at my celly. The time on the scanner was 30 mintues too slow. I had inadvertantly worked extra. There is no way Beth made it back across the state to where her family are before school was even out.
Crazy. I was just a workin' away...
Oh and I get a bunch of free gift bags on Friday. Awesome Free Hallmark stuff.
ANd...if I am supposed to mail someone something...its going to be in the mail with some surprises, because I am so late on mailing it.
