"Starting Saturday our mandatory days begin."
"What?"
"The 10 days before Christmas with no off-day. Then the day after Christmas."
"No one mentioned that to me." (I had plans to meet a friend in Savannah but without 2 consectutive days off before Christmas, that will be impossible).
"Well, I guess you will be hearing about it."
Since I was so sick I just told her have a good afternoon and left. But I remembered this e-mail from my boss:
I will be bringing in a lady from the Winder store to start working next week(Thursday). She will work on Mon-Wed. and Friday with you Jill.If you don't want to work on Thursday then I will have her to work just let me know.Carolyn will continue to work the days that she can. This will help with things not getting beh ind since Carolyn is busy with Wal-Mart at this busy time of the year.
Thanks
Beth
Obviously I thought the dash between Mon-Wed was a typo. I don't work Tuesdays. No one says anything about weekends, or Sundays. Which is what Carolyn is trying to say I have to work. grrr.
AND as of yet (mail hasn't run for today) I haven't been paid for those hours my district manager made a mistake on.
BAH HUMBUG!!!!
